Here is one of the several million "friends" I'm making in New Zealand. I have limited access to the internet and I've been doing lots of running around, so I haven't posted. But I miss you guys (and thanks for the emails, loyal readers). Plus, you didn't sign up for a travel blog, so I'm not going to make you look at every picture I took in New Zealand. I always find other people's stories and slideshows about their trips not as interesting as they do.
I've been collecting Unsinkable stories which I will share when I return, but if you can't wait, check out this one about a lobsterman who survived twelve hours after falling overboard in the middle of the night. It shows that perseverance and luck allow some to survive what would have killed most. So many lessons and such an interesting story. The skills and attitude he brought to his near-drowning could apply to any difficult circumstance. As you approach the time when New Year's goals start to seem less achievable, read this story!
More when I get better internet!
